You can contact Saint-Joseph & Marie-Lannelongue Hospitals international admissions centre by email : (internationalpatient@ghpsj.fr), between 9:00 am. and 6:00 pm (Paris time), Monday to Friday.
We will send you a proposal within 48h of receiving your request, provided that the medical file you have sent is complete and up to date.

Generally speaking Saint-Joseph & Marie-Lannelongue Hospitals do not require a prescription from a third party doctor, provided that the patient’s medical file shows that their medical condition justifies the treatment in question.
However, your medical insurance may requires such a document before agreeing to cover the costs of your hospitalisation.

Our doctors and surgeons have all been specially trained and selected to correspond fully to the medical needs of our patients.
However, it may occur that you wish to be treated by a specialist in particular that you have heard of for one reason or another.
Saint-Joseph & Marie-Lannelongue Hospitals will make every effort to respond to your request where this is possible. However we may not be able to respond to all requests of this nature.
Additionally, we cannot meet requests concerning the race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, language, health condition, age or any other personal characteristic of our medical staff.
We make every effort to develop a medical environment which is totally free of discrimination of any sort, based on transparency and the respect for the abilities of each individual.

Waiting times will depend on your medical needs and service availability.
As regards consultations, we make every effort to propose appointments within 15 days of your first contact with the international admissions centre, where this is possible considering factors which may affect your visit to France (visa, plane tickets, etc.).
In all cases, Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital medical emergency ward is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital is a general hospital with 25 specialised departments. However, some specialisations are not available within the institution, such as neurosurgery and the treatment of children (some exceptions can be made depending on the patient’s body development).

 

 

Marie-Lannelongue Hospital is a referral hospital which specialises in thoracic, vascular and heart surgery for patients of all ages. It only provides treatment for conditions that fall within these specialist fields.

After confirmation and payment of your hospitalisation, the international admissions centre can issue a letter of invitation which can ease the visa application process.

Saint-Joseph & Marie-Lannelongue Hospitals do not provide a medical concierge service. However, the international admissions centre can put you in touch with our accommodation partners.

Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital
From Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, take RER B as far as Denfert-Rochereau station, then rue Froidevaux followed by rue Raymond Losserand.
By car, take the A1 or A3 motorway, direction Paris, then take the ringroad (périphérique). Exit at Porte Brancion/Porte de Vanves and take rue Raymond Losserand.
From Paris-Orly airport, take the Orlyval as far as Antony then RER B, as far as Cité Universitaire. Then take Tramway (T3) as far as Porte de Vanves and take rue Raymond Losserand.
By car, take the A106 motorway followed by the A6a. Then take the ringroad (périphérique) and exit at Porte Brancion/Porte de Vanves, before taking rue Raymond Losserand.

 

 

Marie-Lannelongue Hospital
From Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, by car : take the A3 motorway, direction Paris, then take the ringroad (périphérique). Exit D906 and then follow directions for Le Plessis-Robinson as far as Avenue de la Résistance.
From Paris-Orly airport, take the Orlyval as far as Antony then bus N°395 as far as Hôpital Marie-Lannelongue.
By car, take the N7, then at Rungis take the A86 motorway and leave by exit 28. Then take the D63 as far as Avenue de la Résistance.

Meals are prepared to meet the patient’s dietary requirements and preferences hallal, kosher and vegetarian meals are available.

When necessary, Saint-Joseph & Marie-Lannelongue Hospitals will make every effort to find staff that speak the patient’s language. Where necessary, interpreting services can also be provided through our partners.
