A conference dedicated to professionals was organized on the theme of “Organ Preservation in Rectal Cancers” at Hôpital Paris Saint-Joseph.
On this occasion, Pr Rodrigo Perez at Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz, briefed our medical teams on the challenges of organ preservation, focusing on current challenges and pitfalls in the management of rectal adenocarcinoma. We also had the opportunity to discuss with Prof. Perez methods of assessing patient response to treatment.
